Hi.
I didn't really realize that it was okay to be a loner till I read Party of One by Anneli Rufus. Since then I've been looking for other topics regarding, for lack of a better term, "Lonerism." It is that search that brought me here. First, to lurk and now to join so that maybe I can join in some of the conversation here.
Best to all....

Re: New here.
Thu, March 29, 2007 - 10:26 AMI'd say you're a loner as long as you're not lonely.
'nothing better to do' eh?
I have many great things to do all day long that
I choose or prefer to do by myself.
This is not due to a lack of people but a preference to solitude.
I also have a social life,
but I consider myself a loner because I
often choose to be alone rather than socialize.
